We primarily use online booking — you can book quickly and securely through our Jane booking system. If you have any questions before booking, feel free to get in touch with us.
In most cases, we can see you within a few days, and sometimes even on the same day you contact us. When we're fully booked, we run a waitlist for any cancellations.
Appointment length varies depending on your goals and the therapist you see. You'll be able to check the exact duration for your appointment type when booking online.
If there are no suitable appointments available when you book, you can join the waitlist via the link at the bottom of the page, just under the service options. Our system will automatically email you if a slot matching your preferences becomes available — two hours before it's released publicly.
Not usually — you can book directly with us.
Yes, we offer packages of 4 sessions to make ongoing treatment easier to manage. Packages aren't currently available to purchase online — simply book a regular appointment first, and at the end of your session we can discuss whether a package would suit you.
There's no difference between booking with or without a package. To book a block of appointments, just book each individual session in advance, for as many appointments as you need.
We're located on the ground floor of the Reception Business Centre, 21 Lansdowne Crescent, EH12 5EH, in Haymarket, Edinburgh. Our receptionist is available Monday to Friday, 9am to 4:45pm. If your appointment falls outside these hours, please ring the doorbell on arrival and a member of our clinical team will let you in remotely. Please allow us a moment to reach the door — if it opens automatically, kindly wait at reception until a member of staff is available to attend to you.
Unfortunately, the building is accessed via four steps at the entrance.
The most important thing is arriving on time, so please allow for possible traffic or parking delays. That said, we may occasionally run slightly behind — if you've been waiting more than 15 minutes, feel free to let the receptionist know or knock on our door.
The street offers only a few parking spaces, which aren't always free. The closest and most affordable option is the Distillery Lane car park. Alternatively, free parking can be found about 10 minutes away in Roseburn, Dalry Road, or Murrayfield.
Public transport is your best option — we're just three minutes from Haymarket train and tram stations, and several bus routes run along the main road nearby.
Our Manual Therapy Clinic includes a range of therapists and appointment types, so we simply recommend wearing comfortable clothing. If you have any concerns about exposure during your treatment, just let your therapist know — we're happy to adapt to make you as comfortable as possible throughout your appointment.
Among other services, our Manual Therapy Clinic offers pelvic floor treatment for both women and men. This is outlined in our Terms and Conditions and in our Welcome Form. Before any contact is made during these assessments and treatments, our therapist will always explain the procedure and obtain your consent at least twice. Even after giving consent, you are always entitled to pause or stop treatment at any time, for any reason, with or without explanation. Please share any concerns, questions, or feelings with us — your comfort and sense of control are our priority, and your therapist will support you throughout.
We don't invoice insurers directly, but we can provide a detailed receipt after payment so you can claim reimbursement, provided your policy allows it and you have any required pre-authorisation.
Not always — some insurers don't cover modern techniques such as Indiba. All of our therapists hold official certification, which you can verify on our Team page before choosing who to book with.
We accept card, cash, and bank transfer.
Yes — our team works with children of all ages. For children under 13, we don't retain personal data, and a parent or guardian must supervise them throughout the appointment.
We know childcare isn't always easy to arrange, so in some cases you're welcome to bring your child along, as long as they stay with you at all times.
Your care is completely confidential. If you'd like us to, we're happy to update your GP or consultant with your consent.
