Thank you for choosing The Manual Therapy Clinic. Our aim is to provide high-quality care in a professional, safe, and welcoming environment. Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully, as they outline your rights and responsibilities when using our services.
1. Use of Website
By accessing and using our website (www.themanualtherapyclinic.uk), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time without prior notice. The latest version will always be available on our website.
2. Personal Information & Privacy
We may collect personal information such as your name, contact details, date of birth, and relevant health information to provide our services safely and effectively.
We are committed to protecting your data in accordance with UK data protection laws (including UK GDPR). Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
3. Appointments
- Appointments can be booked online, by phone, or in person.
- Please arrive on time to ensure you receive your full session.
- If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, your therapist may not be able to see you.
4. First Appointment Payment
- All first appointments must be paid in full at the time of booking to secure the reservation.
5. Appointment Reminders
- Patients will receive an appointment reminder approximately 72 hours before their scheduled appointment.
- After receiving this reminder, you will have 24 hours to reschedule your appointment free of charge by:
- Using the online booking system, or
- Emailing Hello@themanualtherapyclinic.uk
6. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
To ensure fairness to all patients and allow us to offer appointments to those in need, we operate the following cancellation policy:
- More than 48 hours’ notice: No cancellation fee.
- Between 48 and 24 hours’ notice: 50% of the appointment fee will be charged.
- Less than 24 hours’ notice or missed appointments: 100% of the appointment fee will be charged.
7. Payment of Cancellation Fees
- Cancellation fees will be charged to the card on file.
- If the card on file does not have sufficient funds, a payment link will be sent via email for the outstanding balance.
8. Outstanding Payments
- If payment is not received within 72 hours, your profile may be temporarily blocked, and new appointments will not be permitted until the balance is settled.
9. Fees & Payment Methods
- Payment is due at the time of your appointment unless otherwise agreed.
- We accept debit cards, credit cards, bank transfer, and cash.
- We do not accept cheque payments.
10. Referrals to Third Parties
Where appropriate, we may refer you to another healthcare professional or service. Once a referral has been made, it is your responsibility to arrange and manage that appointment.
We are not responsible for the services, terms, or outcomes provided by third parties.
11. Consent to Assessment & Treatment
Your physiotherapist will always explain the proposed assessment and treatment before proceeding.
- Your consent is required before any examination or treatment begins.
- Consent may be given verbally or in writing (for example, for procedures such as dry needling).
- You have the right to ask questions or withdraw consent at any time.
12. Treatment & Outcomes
Following your assessment, your therapist will discuss their findings and recommend a personalised treatment plan based on your goals.
While we aim to achieve the best possible outcomes, results may vary between individuals and cannot be guaranteed.
13. Patient Comfort & Participation
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing suitable for physical assessment and movement.
- You are encouraged to ask questions at any time.
- If you feel uncomfortable during any part of the assessment or treatment, please inform your therapist immediately.
14. Personal Belongings
We kindly ask that you take care of your personal belongings. The clinic cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage.
15. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services indicates your acceptance of the latest version.
